The combination of baby alpaca and ultra soft merino in this amazing yarn made me want to have a squooshy cowl to snuggle up to. To take full advantage of the insulating qualities of this yarn I decided that the denser fabric created by mosaic slip stitch colorwork would be a perfect fit.

Knit using only one strand of yarn at a time you are knitting stripes and slipping stitches. It is probably the easiest of colorworks other than just knitting stripes. The pattern is fully written out with charts for those who like them.

The colors used in the sample are English Rose and Polar Morn. You will need about an equal amount of each color. I can see this looking awesome in other colors!

As you can see in the photos you can wear this tall cowl squooshed down around your neck or you can fold it over for a shorter cowl.
