This is the worsted weight version of the Norwegian Setesdal-inspired Otra Yoke Cardigan. In this version you can continue the colourwork for the entire garment, because the short-rows to raise the neck are only at the top. Alternatively, you can do yoke-only colourwork if you prefer.

The cardigan is worked top-down, seamlessly in the round, with a steek for the cardigan opening. It’s a quick knit with an intuitive easy-to-memorise chart.

I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me in my Ravelry group ‘Skeindeer Knits’. It’s the best place for swift support.

Construction
This simple colourwork cardigan is worked top-down, seamlessly in the round, finishing with rib for both sleeves and body.

The pattern starts with a ribbed neckline worked in-the-round, and short-rows worked flat, to raise the neckline. Increases for the yoke are incorporated into the rest-rows of the colourwork chart.

Once the yoke is complete you can choose between either yoke-only colourwork or all-over colourwork.

Finally, cut the steek, and pick up and work button-bands flat in rib. Only non-superwash woollen spun yarn can be cut open without sewing seam reinforcements.
