I am sure that I am not the only one who has fallen in love with the knitted rose coloured capelet seen in the Outlander TV series. This pattern is my interpretation and is based only on my observation of the character Claire seen wearing the capelet in the still photo scenes.

The capelet is a perfect added accessory to anybody’s wardrobe, or, can also be a quick last minute gift. It is an incredibly fast project using 7.5 mm needles and can be very easily adjusted to your preference. Even though two strands of worsted weight yarn are held together throughout, only one skein of yarn is needed. A wonderful affordable project to treat yourself or anyone of your dear friends.

This pattern assumes familiarity of the following: knit stitch, purl stitch, seed stitch, kf&b, pf&b provisional cast on.
