Overfall is a unisex all-over cable jumper knitted from the top down in one piece without any seams. The pattern is written up with row by row descriptions for short sleeves and long sleeves with two body lengths. The yarn is a superwash merino to make it practical for everyday wear.

This yoke jumper is knitted top down in one piece without any seams. The pattern contains a short sleeved and long sleeved version. The short sleeved version features a shorter body length; the long sleeved version a longer body length. The length of the body and the sleeves can easily be adjusted by adding or omitting cable repeats.
The cable pattern has one side of the cable always running on top of the other side. At the yoke the cable pattern is begun by knitting the stitches for the top part of the cable and picking the stitches for the back part of the cable from the stitches just knitted. The cable width is steadily increased along the yoke by adding stitches at the centre of and between the cables. At the end of the body and sleeves decreases for the ribbing are done in a reverse fashion to the original yoke increases by knitting the top and the back part of the cable together. Detailed picture instructions for these techniques are given in the appendix, as well as a schematic showing the construction.
