A simply stunning big, bold design. This is a totally seamless, top-down, in-the-round design in bulky weight yarn so it works up fast!

Flattering tunic-length with split hem and longer back hemline looks great with slacks, jeans, or leggings and boots. Wide ribbing frames the sweater and big, loose and flowy cables complement the relaxed turtleneck and overall fit.

It’s easy to adjust fit and length to your personal preference as you work top-down on the sweater.

This design was inspired by the Painted Hills in Oregon where you can see millions of years of history revealed in the layers of mountains of earth. The hills get their name from the delicately colored stratifications in the soil. The yellows, gold, blacks and reds of the Painted Hills are part of the John Day Fossil Beds in Eastern Oregon.

The instructions are written (with no need for a chart) and the pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested.
