Paper Hearts is a stranded colorwork cowl with duplicate stitch details added in a third color after completing the knitting. It was inspired by vintage cross stitch charts and the paper heart doilies that were ever present at Valentine’s Day during my childhood.

Supplies
Color A: 1 balls Knit Picks Palette, Mist.
Color B: 1 ball Knit Picks Palette, Fairy Tale.
Color C: 1 ball Knit Picks Palette, Jay.
24” circular needles in 3.25mm or size used to obtain gauge. 24” circular needles in 2.75mm or one size below gauge.
5 stitch markers (optional)
Yarn needle for duplicate stitch, hemming, and weaving in ends.

Gauge
27.5 sts & 33 rows in 4” in Chart 2 pattern, unblocked on larger needles.
