Joy Haworth
I am a Minnesotan that is a recent transplant to BC, Canada.
I am a long-time writer & amateur bead artist, who is now also a knitter, crocheter and indie dyer. My mother is a pastel artist, focusing mainly on portraiture, and I thank her for my inherited eye for color.
I tend to be very systematic in my beadwork, knitting, and crocheting. I can modify a pattern, but I seem to have trouble letting go enough to do anything free-form. Dyeing, on the other hand, has been a wonderful opportunity to really let loose and experiment.
I believe in sharing patterns without too many restrictions. If you download any of my free patterns or purchase a paid pattern:
- You are NOT allowed to sell or give away any patterns.
- You MAY loan a pattern printout to a friend. (Although, I suggest that you direct them towards the free download page or paid pattern page, as then they will have access to fresh color images and any changes I might make as users find Errata.)
- You MAY sell any handmade items made from the pattern.
- But you may NOT mass-produce them for sale.
