The Patagonia Cowl was designed for the 2015 Chicago Yarn Crawl. It is free if you stop by the store.

The inspiration for this design came from the softness of the yarn. When I touched it, I knew that I wanted something that would be cozy around my neck. I also wanted a simple project that new knitters could handle and experienced knitters would enjoy.

When you finish the cowl, I recommend a short soak in Eucalan. You’ll be sure that the cowl is as soft and drapey as it gets until you wet it and discover its true potential.

At String Theory, we believe that every dollar you spend is a vote for the way you want the world to be. Buying Woolfolk yarn supports the innovative efforts of farmers to produce the very best wool fiber while being land stewards of the Patagonian Grasslands.
