Worked from the cuff down, this sock’s rib pattern transitions into stockinette through the leg portion of the sock. Work these in an Aran-weight yarn for a quick, satisfying sock that even your kid cannot outgrow before they’re ready for wear.

  • Intermediate difficulty – Knit, purl, working in the round, simple increases and decreases.
  • Finished foot circumference 5¼ (6¼, 7, 8) in / 13.5 (16, 18, 20.5) cm. Shown in size 7 in.
  • MATERIALS AND NOTIONS 1 skein of Blue Moon Fiber Arts Gaea (100% merino wool; 305yds/279m per 226g skein); Deep Unrelenting Gray. US #8 (5mm) set of dpns. Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge. Stitch markers, yarn needle.
  • GAUGE 18 sts and 27 rnds = 4 in / 10cm in St st and 3×1 rib pattern slightly stretched.
