The Penny Lane Cable Toque is very versatile. It can be knit as a short toque, or knit a little bit slouchy or knit as a Messy Bun or Pony Tail Hat. All design versions are included in the pattern.

Penny Lane Cabled Toque is knit in the round with no discernible band. The start of the hat is kept snug by a shortened cable for the first repeat. The first cable is only 6 rounds deep unlike the rest of the cables that are 8 rounds deep.
