Introduction

Construction
This top is made from the waist up and later from the waist down to add the peplum. Instructions are made in steps so you can “build” the top that you prefer:

1) Strapless top
2) added straps
3) added sleeves.

You can also choose to add either a zipper or a ribbon. I included instructions in the pattern for crocheting on the zipper, but if you are an experienced seamstress, go ahead and use your sewing mashine.

If you prefer the ribbon solution, you can wear the ribbon in the back or in the front depending on the occasion.

Readability
This writte pattern is easy to read and follow. It is divided into clear sections for each part. Pattern is written in US terms. Also includes a photo illustration of the zipper installation, gauge and a few other photos.

Gauge is based on a shell stitch pattern: instructions on how to work gauge are included in the pattern. Tip: see photos to the left

Chain (CH)
Slip Stitch (SS)
Single Crochet (SC)
