This simple reversible shawlette is knit from side to side With a garter stitch body and a feathered lace edging that is knit right on as you go along. The top edging has a lovely scalloped border that is easy to block out with wires or pins. You start with two stitches, you end with two stitches. It’s my favorite way to make shawls.

This is another perfect shawlette for that one skein of precious sock yarn you can’t bear to wear on your feet. Easy to adjust in size, you can just increase til half your yarn is gone and then turn around and go back.

Instructions are given in charted and written form.

Model shawl has 22 repeats of the lace on each side and it has a 62” wingspan and is 21” deep.
