This jumper features a slightly wider neckline for those littlies who are starting to feign itchiness with our knits, a kangaroo pocket for them to collect their pebbles, acorns etc. and “elbow patches” for extra character! Choose buttons that reflect your child’s personality or preferences!

The yoke begins with garter stitch knit flat, then the piece is joined in the round and continued with stocking stitch. The sleeves and body are then separated, the body and pocket are made before returning to the sleeves and elbow patches.

The garter yoke is knit with needles two sizes down from the needle used to obtain gauge i.e. 3.5mm (US size 4) for the garter if you are using 4mm (US size 6) to obtain gauge. I have been told that not everyone has access to 3.5mm needles, in that case, going down to 3.25mm would be better than going up to 3.75mm (US size 5).

Sized to fit: 16 (17, 19, 20, 21, 22), 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 inches, 40.5 (43, 48, 51, 53.5, 56) 58.5, 61, 63.5, 66, 68.5, 71 cm chest circumference.

Finished size has 3”/7.6cm positive ease worked into it.
