Pattern is worked using one Main Color, with 10 or so yards of a contrasting color needed for trim. A size E (US) crochet hook is also required for the trim. Pattern instructions are for 2-, 4-, and 6-year sizes.

Needles are specified as Size 4 US (3.5mm) 29” circular and 6 US (4mm) dpns for hat.

There is a matching Spring Coat.

The yardage for the coat and hat combined is between 915 and 1445 yards.
