Highland is a beautiful 2-ply worsted weight wool that is made in America (New Hampshire), so these socks will be thick and warm. Each leg is worked flat using the intarsia method until after the pine tree chart is complete. Then the sock is seamed and worked in the round from the heel to the toe.

Two different sock sizes can be obtained using the same pattern but by varying the size of your knitting needles:
adult women’s sock is made with size US3 needles;
adult men’s sock made is made with size US4 needles.

Yarn Requirements:

Harrisville Designs Highland -
