Materials:

Medium Weight Yarn. I used the following:
Caron One Pound in Sunflower & Grass Green

sc = single crochet
sc2tog = single crochet 2 stitches together
hdc = half double crochet

tr = triple/treble crochet

Bobble = yarn over, insert hook in to stitch and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on your hook repeat to 3 more times. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on your hook

Notes:

  • You will need about 180 yards of yarn for the body of the pineapple and about 20 for the crown. Feel free to substitute yarn used to something that comes in a smaller skein, like Red Heart, I Love This Yarn, Loops & Thread Impeccable ect. Caron One Pound is what I had on hand.
  • You will need about 5 handfuls of fiderfil.
  • Finished body of the pineapple will be about 8 inches long and 5.5 inches wide, each finished crown leaf will be about 2.5 inches long.
  • The whole pineapple is made in a total of 6 parts. Front and back panel of the pineapple body, which will be crocheted together, and 4 crown leaves, which will be sewn together then sewn to the body.
