A simple wool hat worked in Stocking Stitch with beading.

Difficulty: Suitable for an intermediate knitter

Note: Although there are currently no errata for this pattern listed at the link given, the photograph of the finished hat in the book is slightly different to the hat if it is knit strictly to the pattern – the band around the lower edge of the hat has the stocking stitch side out in the pattern as written, whereas the hat in the photographs in the book show bands with the reverse stocking stitch side out.
