Knit in an easy-care cotton-blend, this top is made seamless from the cast-on bottom up thru the shoulders (which are 3needle-bound off). The garter stitch collar is knit in one piece, finished with a lovely bit of lace!

The slight a-line (with ribbing just before the armhole split) allows for freedom of movement for your own little Pippi!

The back of this top is shown on the book cover -- the center top

ERRATA:
02/24/2012 -- the numbers for splitting for the front are incorrect in the published pattern:
The front should be K 37 (42,46, 55, 55, 60) after BO’ing for underarms. You will work 1.5” across all 37 (42,46, 55, 55, 60) sts, dec just as for Back to shape armhole -- 3 sts fewer each side mean you’ll have: 31 (36, 40, 49, 49, 54) sts rem when you get ready to split for shaping the neck.

For the neck: you’ll now have 5sts for seed-border + 9(12, 14, 18, 18, 21) + 3(2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 2) for center + 9(12, 14, 18, 18, 21) + 5sts for seed-border
