From the French word for “little pocket,” this cleverly constructed, body-skimming tunic features vibrant color-blocking in the form of wrap-around, curved pockets. Gentle waist shaping and contrast color piping give Pochette the long, lean lines that flatter a variety of figures. 100% linen yarn provides a crisp hand and nearly weightless drape, two elements that work hard to keep you cool.

Pochette is worked back and forth from the bottom up, in pieces, which are then seamed. Color-blocking and Reverse Stockinette edging in a contrast color yarn adds visual shaping and definition. Curved pockets are worked along with Back, and are then wrapped around and seamed to the Front of the tunic. The deep V-neck is split at the same level as the beginning of the armhole bind-off. Set-in sleeves are worked seamlessly down from the shoulders, using short-rows to shape the sleeve cap, and then knit in the round down to the Reverse Stockinette edging.
