Polar Sun is worked from the neck down in 3 colour Garter Stitch. The unusual shape is formed by increasing in the center lace panel, which is repeated in the border and creates a nice ruffled edge.

Materials
Yarn:

C1: 218 yds/200 m fingering weight yarn.
C2: 218 yds/200 m fingering weight yarn.
C3: 327 yds/300 m fingering weight yarn.
Sample is shown in Dutch Knitting Design’s Krokus Duo and Krokus. (382 yds/350 m per 100gr) Colourways; C1: Manderin Nr 6; C2: Lavender Nr 6; C3: Daffodil.
Needles: 1 US 5/3.75mm circular of length 40 in/100 cm.
Stitch markers: 34
Beads: 140 Miyuki seed beads size 6/0 colour: 06-223

Gauge
