Another easy pattern to knit for the 14” Hearts for Hearts dolls. The poncho, headband and tote bag can be made from about 1 ounce of leftover sock/fingering weight yarn.

The poncho is worked top-down and flat with a seam at the back. It slips over the doll’s head with a stretchy neckline. It can easily be worked in the round or with a button band, if desired.

Because I used leftover balls of different (mostly unlabeled) sock/fingering yarns, the gauge varied just a bit but the poncho is loose enough that it still fit all my dolls, pulling easily over their heads.

The matching headband and tote bag are cute accessories and would please any little doll mommy.

Because Hearts for Hearts dolls are so close in size to American Girl WellieWishers, Glitter Girls and Play Zone 14” dolls, this pattern can also be used for them.
