Top down, in the round, spring lock-down inspired yoke sweater top with a classic, comfortable fit. It has positive ease built into the pattern. If you would like it more fitted then you may prefer to go down a size. It is all worked as one item so there is so seeming or sewing (sorry, there might be some ends to weave in!).

Inclusive pattern sizing from XS to 5X, with each size written out separately so you only need to look at yours, and not try to pick out your sizing counts amongst others!

Size (Bust, in - Arm, in)

  • XS (30 - 9.75)
  • S (34 - 10.25)
  • M (38 - 11)
  • L (42 - 12)
  • XL (46 - 13.5)
  • 2X (50 - 15.5)
  • 3X (54 - 17)
  • 4X (58 - 18.5)
  • 5X (62 - 18.5)

You’ll need two different colour ways, with rough ratio of 1:2 for each size. In total, you should need:

  • XS - M 200g-250g 874-1092 yards
  • L - 2X 250g-350g 1092-1529 yards
  • 3X - 5X 350g-500g 1529-2185 yards

There are two gauge swatches to do - one for the daisies as these are where the increases are, and the other for the stitches that make up the body. You’ll need to check both as you may need to go up/down a hook size to accommodate different tensions for each.

In collaboration with Hook & Light this pattern has been designed using their Falkland Merino 4ply base in Wildflower and Sprinkles colourways. You can purchase the yarn from them, and find it available as a pattern and yarn kit:

Lock-down has been a turbulent time for all, for me there was a forcing of a slower, pottering pace to really look around and see the beauty that already exists that can be so quickly dismissed as weeds.

The pattern has been tested, however if you find any errors or omissions please do not hesitate to get in touch so I can help.
