I love the look of the Prairie Bonnet and I have always wanted to design one, but you know, would anyone want to wear it? Well when I showed this around the store the feedback I got was positive so…..

I have always thought that the look was graceful and far more flattering to most faces than the toque shape that is the standard winter hat. The bonnet style covers the ears and has ties that will keep the hat in place should a good wind blow up and the sizing is very forgiving because of the open-ended shape.

And best of all the wide band at the front is wonderful canvas for colourwork and other fun techniques!

There is a photo tutorial for the button placements.
