A small collar with simple points around the neck and a more elaborate point pattern around the hem, the body connects the two point patterns and there is a button detail at the back of the neck.

The collar body starts out being worked back and forth and then is connected into a round.

Techniques include provisional cast-on; picking-up and knitting; circular knitting; knitted on edging; and garter st grafting.

These patterns have been designed to take an advanced beginner/intermediate knitter from a fairly simple straight lace scarf to a circular collar to a larger moebius cowl. Many of the steps are illustrated with photographs and all the techniques are good basics to learn for any future lace knitting.
