Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Winter 2006:
Knitted in one piece, this fitted vest takes its shape from increases and decreases hidden within the arrangement of stitch patterns. The luxurious yarn, a plush combination of yak and merino, has a good deal of elasticity that lets the piece stretch comfortably where it needs to. The rich textures of this vest can easily handle large buttons. Choose horn or mother-of-pearl buttons for a rustic look.
