Tulips are such a reminder of spring for me. When I found this delightful tulip shaped cable, I just had to incorporate it into a sock. These cables wend their way from toe to cuff, each one blooming merrily as you work your way up the sock.

I hope you enjoy knitting these socks as much as I did!

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to intermediate knitter. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 skein Black Trillium Lilt 85% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Mulberry Silk, 405 yards, Lemon Chiffon
Needle: US 1 (2.25 mm) Hiya Hiya Steel Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch (spi) and 9 rows per inch (rpi) OR 32 stitches & 36 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette on US 2

Size: To fit a US women’s 8.5-9 shoe, approx. 8.25” circumference and 9” foot

To alter the size: Adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the circumference of the foot as needed.
