I designed PussySocks as a response to requests. Those who marched in support of women’s rights, as well as civil rights for all, we applaud and thank you. This grassroots movement, as it takes shape, is a reflection of our democracy in action. And it gives us hope. The sock can be knit stranded, per chart, or all pink, if the knitter desires. I recommend using a machine washable wool, like Knit Picks Stroll Sock yarn or Cascade Heritage Solids. Make your pussy faces black, or white, or a paler shade of pink. The sole of the sock is stranded, so you achieve double the warmth of a single strand of yarn without adding bulk. The pattern also contains instructions for an optional secret pocket for securing a key or cash, and when the top cuff is folded down, the pocket opening is completely hidden. See useful information at the end of the pattern regarding color dominance when stranding.
