Pythonidae – The family of python snakes.

Socks so called because the cable and texture pattern is reminiscent of the Diamond python snake, a common and nonvenomous visitor to backyards on the city fringe.

Pythonidae socks feature a diamond cable design on the back leg, the heel continues with rope cables, ribbing completes the front leg and instep.

The foot features underfoot heel and gusset shaping and is finished with a wedge toe.
