I designed this pattern with my mom in mind - she loves the warmth of a cowl when going out, but has trouble getting one over her head. This design, while fitting snugly, uses i-cord buttonholes & large, decorative buttons to simplify getting it on and off. The colors of borealis complement most complexions, and the yarn itself is very comfortable to wear.
