A simple stripy blanket in which the Fibonacci Series is referenced in both directions. Each coloured stripe is knitted individually and then joined. A crocheted seam is fully described in the pattern - no prior knowledge of crochet is required.

The pattern includes instructions on how to adapt the blanket to larger and smaller sizes, and how to substitute yarns of any weight.

To substitute yarns, you’ll need the following proportions (exact amounts will vary depending on your gauge and the weight and yardage of the substituted yarn):

1x amount of Yarn A (red in my pattern)
1x amount of Yarn B (yellow in my pattern)
2x amount of Yarn C (green in my pattern)
3x amount of Yarn D (blue in my pattern)
5x amount of Yarn E (purple in my pattern)
2x amount of Yarn F (contrast yarn – white in my pattern)

I recommend using 32”/ 80cm circular needles at least for the widest stripe, just to avoid dropping stitches, but in theory it can all be knitted on straight needles.
