Worked in the round from the bottom up with bulky weight yarn, a trio of plush cables forms a panel on this fitted hat. The back of the hat is worked in stockinette stitch. Additional repeats of the cable pattern may be worked for a slouchier hat.

US 10 (6 mm) 16 inch (40 cm) circular needles
US 10 (6 mm) double pointed needles
OR appropriate length needle for magic loop method

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Rust model is worked in Lion Brand Yarns Wool-Ease Chunky color Spice.
Red model is worked in Cascade 128 Superwash color 809 Red with one extra repeat of the cable pattern.
