Rey of Sunshine Blanket by Laurinda Reddig

Rey of Sunshine Blanket

Another quick and easy pattern to whip up into an entire blanket, the V-stitch is worked in the space between the stitches of the previous row, giving a slightly more lacey look while still being tight enough to avoid trapping little fingers and toes. The edging I chose for this blanket is another type of shell edging, very similar to the stitch combination used in the crosshatches in Square # 7 of Rowan’s Learn to Crochet Sampler Afghan.
