Entrelac is fun! Mix in a little K2, P2 rib and you’ve got a really fun project!

For your knitting pleasure, I’ve designed an oversized, slouchy beret that will fit adult women and men. Teenagers would enjoy it too!

The beret is knit from the top down, using Emily Ocker’s fabulous circular cast on. Don’t worry, I’ve included a color photo tutorial, showing you how to do it. However, if you prefer to use a long tail cast on with double pointed needles, that’s fine too.

This is an Intermediate level project. I’ve worked hard to provide easy to read instructions and I included color photographs to help you along the way, but it would be helpful if you’ve worked Entrelac before. You’ll also need to know how to pick up knit and purl stitches.

As with all my designs, I’m here to help!! I want you to have fun and end up with a sensational result, so you’ll find my Email address at the top of the pattern. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you have.
