The inspiration for these mittens came after a visit to Latvia and from looking at all the beautiful latvian mittens there. These mittens knitted in three colors, but only using two colors per row.

The first version of the pattern is without gusset and made in a DK yarn. The following notes is for the second version.

Size:
Circumference: 20 cm / 7.8”
Lenght: 25 cm / 9.5”
From thumb to decrease: 9.5 cm / 3.7”
Lenght of decrease: 4.5 cm / 1.8”
Lenght of thumb: 6.5 cm / 2.6”

Yarn:
Rauma – Finullgarn
175 m/ 50 g, 100 % wool
1 skein color A = 418 red
1 skein color B = 401 off-white
1 skein color C = 451 blue
Or any other finger weight yarn at 191 yards or 175m/50 gr which gives you proper gauge

Needles:
2.5mm/US2 DPN:s or long circular needle for magic loop. I knit loosely, so you should probably go up a needle size if you knit tight.
