08 April 2015 - So yeah, I fixed Chart C. I am really sorry that it took me 3 years to do that! :P

30 Nov 2012 - Someone has alerted me to the fact that Chart C does not match up with the written instructions. I plan to fix the problem sometime this weekend but until then please know that the written instructions are right and it is the chart that is wrong. Sorry for the mix-up, folks!

’This cowl is a great first project for a knitter who is keen to try lace, but wants a little practice with a heavier weight of yarn. The stitch-pattern is easy to memorise and clearly demonstrates the whys and hows of lace by using yarn-overs in combination with left-slanting and right-slanting decreases to create a richly-textured fabric. More experienced knitters should find this a quick and simple project, repetitive enough for TV-knitting but with a few twists and turns to keep you interested. It can be knit entirely from written pattern or by supplementing the pattern with charts for the eyelet sections.’

This pattern has not been test-knit except by me; please feel free to message me if you have any questions/corrections :)
