The River Shawl is a triangluar shawl worked side to side with increases or decreases on right side rows. Beaded welts mimic the ripples in the water where the river flows over stones. Beaded Welts should be placed randomly over the shawl, although there is a chart for those who don’t feel adventurous enough to go rogue on it.
