Rivets - a hatfancy and earwarmer
I’d never made bobbles and wanted a useful way to get the hang of it, so I came up with this.
It’s a great way to use up leftover yarn - even scratchy yarn, if you’re using it to decorate a hat. Knit short for an earwarmer/headband it’s warm thanks to the double layer in the middle, and stays on thanks to the tighter moss stitch on the edges.
I’ve also included instructions for learning or practicing Kitchener stitch/grafting; 17 stitches is a pretty small commitment and it works really well here.
