Rocio is a trapezoidal shawl, constructed from the bottom up, with beads (450 clear beads for the body, 360 green beads for the edge). The edging is constructed in rows attaching to the body as it’s worked.

To attach the beads onto the body, a small crochet hook is recommended. In order to attach the beads to the edging, they must be pre-strung on the yarn, so a small beading needle should be used for ease.
