These are a pair of mitts made with Shetland wool. The wool used is thicker than what I usually knit Fair Isle in so this means they knit up quickly and could be completed over a weekend.

They can be knit with any double knitting wool or light worsted weight wool.

Instructions are for two colour version and also for three colour version.

I knit is the round with 3 8 in / 20 cm double pointed needles though these could be knit using magic loop with two circulars if you prefer.

I include hints and tips on avoiding ladders, working with your float and finishing the mitts.

These are made to fit an adult women’s size hands.

I hope you enjoy making these up!
