This is a beautiful summer shawl with its leaf pattern reminds me of a rose garden.

It is a great shawl to wear over a summer dress in the evenings when going out or even during the day to dress up the outfit.

Gauge:
DK weight yarn – approx. 16 sts/4” (exact gauge is not critical)

Please Note:
Each lace pattern repeat has 16 sts. In Row #3, the stitch count goes down to 15 sts per repeat. In Row #5, the stitch count goes back up to 16 sts per repeat.

Row #4 contains 15 sts and that the chart has a couple of errors:
In the chart: Row #4 should have a blacked out square (showing no stitch) instead of “---” which is not even explained in the symbol key. This makes the chart confusing. Also in the “Note” just below the chart, it doesn’t mention the 15 sts on Row #4, and should say “Row #5” instead of “Row #4” has one additional YO which results in restoring the 16 sts.

If you only go by the written instructions, everything is fine. It is just the chart that is confusing and in error.
