The Rose Hat is a new pattern from the exciting range A Land Close By - a magical land full of playful characters and built with imagination. To see and read more about A Land Close By check out their blog here

This sweet, cute and girly hat pattern is inspired by the character Rose Burrow from A Land Close By.

It’s the perfect thing for summer parties or tips out. It’s in Rose’s official colours but you can of course use your own and with the mesh body to the hat is lovely and light like a fairy. It’s got a pretty picot edge to give it that extra girly feel.

Skill Level : Accomplished Beginner, by this I mean you are relatively familiar with crochet stitches. I have included links to some you tube tutorials.

I’ve used a 100% cotton yarn.

The pattern is written in UK crochet terms but at the back there is a conversion chart for US crocheters.

This is just a written pattern, no chart provided.

Gauge is not particularly important with this pattern, I feel it’s always better to have consistent tension.

Materials Needed:
• Cotton aran weight yarn, for this pattern I’ve used Drops Paris yarn in 33 Medium Pink, 05 Light Purple and 16 White.
• 5mm crochet hook
• Scissors

You can of course choose different colours, the official Rose from A Land Close By are the above colours.
