This sweet and cuddly Sam Tartan Security Blanket is the perfect thing to help your little prince snuggle down for the night for sweet and peaceful dreams. It will become your little ones inseparable friend.

Skill Level : Accomplished Beginner/Intermediate, by this I mean you are very familiar with crochet stitches and are confident following patterns. I have included links to some you tube.

I have used a DK acrylic weight yarn so it can be washed, as all things baby sometimes need to be.

The facial features are all stitched on so no need to worry about safety eyes or buttons.

The pattern is written in UK crochet terms but at the back there is a conversion chart for US crocheters.

This is just a written pattern, no chart provided but I have included some photographs of different stages to help.

Gauge is not particularly important with this pattern once you keep consistent tension the proportions will be correct.

Materials Needed :
• DK weight yarn in the following colours

• Silver grey
• Light Blue
• Navy
• Red

• 3.00mm, 4mm and 5mm crochet hooks
• Toy stuffing
• DMC cotton thread in Black for eyes and mouth, pink for nose
• Darning Needle
• Stitch markers

You can of course choose different colours, the official Sam from A Land Close By are the above colours.
