These roses could be made as brooches, sewn onto woolly hats, or use to decorate gift boxes. They are also a super project for using up ends of yarn balls to avoid waste.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the roses are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour

SIZES
One size only - Each rose is 3cm tall x 3.5cm wide.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, k2tog decrease, and a little seaming to finish.
