Cousin Julie, wanted a deep purple shawl with beads with generous coverage and a more traditional style shawl. The rose trellis stitch pattern is a favorite of mine and I’ve been wantingto try a new shaping technique. Roses for Julie is the result!

Skill level: Intermediate or medium difficulty, Charts Only

Knit top down into a “butterfly” shape with slightly defined shoulders, Roses for Julie drapes beautifully and fits every figure.
Instructions are charted: patterned on RS and purled rows on WS (except for edging sts). There are three sizes with two bind off options, with or without beads. Optional beads highlight the roses in the trellis pattern of the body. Blocking tips are provided with a couple of examples for pinning the tips of the shawl.

Enjoy!
