Roxy Socks
These socks, named after my dear canine companion, Roxy Mae, are suitable for knitters of all skill levels. The textured stitch pattern is easily memorized, making this a perfect project for knit night or when you’re on the go.
Ideal for self-striping yarns, the stitch pattern also works equally well for highly variegated and semi-solid colorways.
Pattern includes charted and written instructions for both fingering weight and sport/DK weight yarn. Written as a cuff down pattern, the stitch pattern can be easily reversed for toe up construction.
Needle size suggested: US 1 (fingering weight) and US 3 (sport/DK weight)
Techniques used:
- Knitting in the round
- Knit/Purl
- Decreases (K2tog, SSK)
- Picking up stitches
- Grafting/Kitchener Stitch
