This snug fitting cowl is made warm and cozy with a dense textured fabric made up of simple cable stitches. It is shown here in Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted - a beautifully soft merino, cashmere, and silk blend, making it soft and gentle against the skin. The i-cord edges give it structure and formality. This is a quick knit - a treat for oneself or the perfect gift for someone else!

This intermediate pattern is worked in the round. Instructions are written and the pattern stitch is also charted. Pattern uses all 210 yards of Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted. Colours shown here are Tart, Antique Lace, and Cousteau.

Skills required: knitting in the round, cabling with a cable needle, increasing, decreasing, i-cord cast on and bind off (instructions included in pattern), grafting i-cord ends (photo tutorial included in pattern). Stitches used: k, k2tog tbl, kfb, C4B, C4F.

The tutorial for grafting the i-cords ends can also be found online at leahmichelledesigns.com.

Finished measurements: Approximately 11 inches (28 cm) long and 9.5 inches (24 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 22 inches (56 cm).
