This pattern is the child version of my pattern, Rudolph Socks, and one of two children sized Christmas sock patterns I’ll be posting this month!

This sock is created with simple stockinette stitch sock pattern, 3 dimensional antler buds, adorable ears, big button eyes (or felt, if for a very young child) and a glowing, red nose.

This is a top down sock pattern that works up fairly quickly, perfect for if you want to make a whole family of reindeer socks! The sock has a heel flap heel, which could be easily substituted if desired.

Gauge for this pattern is not crucial, and some minor variation can be allowed.

Though the main color should be had in the quantity listed, scrap quantities are likely sufficient for both the nose and antlers.

Measurements in pattern are included in both inches and centimeters.

If you’re interested in Rudolph socks for adults, then check out my pattern, “Rudolph Socks,” for adult sizes. Patterns varies slightly in regards to eye proportion and antlers (full antlers for the adult socks, and antler buds for the child socks).

Sizes in Pattern:
• 3-4 years (approximately US 9-10C, EU 25-27)
• 5-6 years (approximately US 11-13 C, EU 28-31)
• 7-8 years (approximately US 1-2Y, EU 32-33)
• 9 years+: All sizes 9 years and up should be taken from the adult sizes pattern of Rudolph Sock. Sizes 9-12 years will likely be size Small in the adult sizes pattern, and sizes 12+ will likely be size Medium or Large in the pattern.
