Pattern description from One Skein: “This ruffle-like cravat is worked in a series of partial circles in the Scalloped Braid pattern from Mon Tricot, 250 Knit and Crochet Patterns (Crown Publications, 1977). This pattern was originally presented as a delicate edging worked with a fingering-weight yarn, but it takes on an entirely different look when it’s worked in bulky yarn. The scallops hook on one another to hold the cravat closed.”

Finished Size: About 5.5” (14 cm) wide and 26” (66 cm) long.

Yarn:

  • Chunky-weight (CYCA Bulky #5) yarn.
  • Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superchunky (55% merino wool, 33% microfiber, 12% cashmere; 82 yd 75 m/100 g): #10 deep rose.

Hook:

  • Size P/16 (11.5 mm) (not available in Ravelry’s hook selections)
  • Change hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch marker (m); tapestry needle.
