Ruffles and Castle are a pair of patterns. They can be described as collars, shawls, scarves or wraps. Call them what you will, they are adaptable to cover many occasions.

Worn as a collar, the back folds over to form a comfortable shawl collar. Instructions for ties are included to keep the collar together.

Gauge is not important.

By buying two skeins each of the main colour and contrast colour, you should be able to knit both scarves.

It is possible to knit the scarf longer, also making it deeper, but this will obviously use more yarn, so make sure you have enough.
