An offspring of the Bertha Lace Shawl, this design is named for a childhood friend. The shawl has a narrow top edge, an optional border with bands of spider lace and stockinette stitch, and a deep edging. I love it in one color, but it also would be lovely in more. The size can be customized, and it looks great in a variety of lace, fingering, and Shetland/sport/DK weight yarns.
